Sussex Wedding Photography - Sussex Wedding Photographer

I've now been living in Sussex for the past six years and admittedly we are experiencing the hottest summer in living memory!! (or at least that's what it seems like)

The Sussex countryside, towns and villages have been the back drop to many weddings and portraits that I've photographed over that time. There is such a great variety of location that can be used to photograph weddings and portraits, one aspect of photographing a wedding which I really enjoy is going to new wedding venues to check out the location so I can get the best shots for the wedding day.

I usually incorporate this little expedition with photographing the wedding couple for their engagement shoot. This is a great way for us to get to know each other and also for me to have a look at the best settings to photograph on the wedding day.

Living in Eastbourne, I have photographed a lot of weddings on the beach, although sometimes it can be a little windy. It can also makes for interesting and dramatic photographs like in this shot with the wind blowing the Bride's hair and dress helping to creating a beautiful composition. The key to wedding photography is to take advantage of whatever the weather is, come rain or shine!
